Toše Proeski Memorial House, Kruševo.
The Toše Proeski Memorial House is the place most fans mean when they say they are "going to Kruševo". It stands in the Gumenje neighbourhood of the town where he grew up and is the anchor address of this board: every other place in this directory is described in relation to it.
The museum holds all of his awards, many of his belongings from childhood, recreations of his living room and his home recording studio, and a wax figure of the singer. It is, in the words of one description, a chronological journey through his life.
The Memorial House opened on 25 April 2011, three and a half years after his death. The building is shaped like a cross, a reference to his devout Orthodox faith. Its interior walls carry words from his songs together with his signature concert phrase "Ve sakam site" — "I love you all" — translated into more than one hundred languages.
The design was recognised internationally: at the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona the building won the People's Choice Award. A year after the opening, a monograph about the museum was published. By 2018 its director reported more than 600,000 visitors, and by 2021 the figure had passed 700,000 over ten years.

This is a museum first, not an events venue, but it is the natural focus of the fan calendar. Visitor numbers peak on his birthday, 25 January, and on the anniversary of his death, 16 October, when people come to light candles and spend time in the rooms. The museum's own anniversary on 25 April also draws visitors.
