Several new members have asked for advice before their first trip to the Toše Proeski Memorial House in Kruševo. Here is what experienced visitors on the board usually recommend. It is a checklist, not an official guide — always confirm practical details with the museum itself.

Before you go
- Check opening times and entry arrangements directly. We do not list them because they change.
- Check the road. Kruševo is the highest town in North Macedonia, about 33 km above Prilep. Snow is common in winter.
- Pick your date. 25 January and 16 October are moving but crowded. A weekday in May or September is calmer.
At the museum
- The building is shaped like a cross, reflecting his Orthodox faith. Many visitors treat it as a sacred space.
- Look for his awards, the recreated living room and home studio, and the walls carrying "Ve sakam site" — "I love you all" — in more than a hundred languages. Finding your own language is a small ritual for many fans.
- Follow staff guidance on photography.
Nearby
- The grave and memorial chapel are close by at Gumenje.
- Makedonium has a bust of Toše inside its dome.
- If you have time, the Nikola Martinoski gallery shows another side of the town's history.
Bring
- Layers: mountain weather changes quickly, even in summer.
- A candle, if you plan to visit the grave.
- Patience on anniversaries — queues are normal.
